Prepared for emergencies

This week the fire protection expert Bernd Weißhaupt was at Plant 2 in Solingen to train us on prevention and behaviour in the event of a fire. After an entertaining theory lesson, in which Mr. Weißhaupt incorporated many anecdotes from his active fire brigade service, we went into practice. In front of the company building all colleagues were allowed to extinguish little practice fires with fire extinguishers. Now we feel well equipped to support each other in an emergency situation. We thank Mr. Weißhaupt for his well-founded and interesting training!
